A salon off a Paris courtyard, where the building’s own stone is left exposed.
The space sits off a planted courtyard, behind a vaulted stone passage that the project deliberately leaves untouched.
Inside, the original limestone piers stay exposed and become the only texture in the room. Everything added is white and rounded: pedestal stations turned from a single form, marble tops, and round mirrors sized large enough to read as architecture rather than as fittings.
Travertine underfoot keeps the floor warm against all that white.
